Our summer camp activities
"COAP" provides a fun, life-enhancing, and educational arts camp designed to give parents a financial break. The current economic situation has impacted many families, and finding an affordable camp with substance can be challenging. Our camp offers a rich curriculum of activities to foster creativity and learning.
Music Instruction
Engage in music theory and piano instruction 3 or 4 days a week. Develop musical skills in a supportive environment.

Discover the power of the ARTS through instruction and interactive activities designed to encourage self-expression.
Recreation and trips
Participate in indoor and outdoor recreation, games, and several exciting trips to broaden horizons.
A typical day at camp
Our camp runs from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Early drop-off and later pick-up options are available upon inquiry. Each day is packed with diverse activities to keep campers engaged and learning.
Daily curriculum
The basic day includes music theory instruction, beginner piano lessons, poetry instruction, and painting on canvas instruction. On several days we offer sing-a-longs, inspirational videos, and drama also. We also incorporate special games and recreation periods. Typically, we organize a one full-day trip and one half-day trip each week (trip fees are additional).
Parents are requested to supply a bag lunch daily.
Who can participate?
Our summer camps are open to any student who has completed first grade. This means children in grades 2 and up are welcome to attend. No special skills are required; just an eagerness to learn and have fun!
Why choose COAP ARTS summer camp?
Our camp stands out for several reasons.
1) We offer a more affordable option compared to most community camps, which typically charge $400 to $700 per week for similar programs with as much content.
2) Our camp teaches actual activities that the campers can use for the rest of their lives.
3) Our camp content develops key areas of youth development such as: Self Discipline, Patience, Confidence, Social Skills, Poise, Teamwork, Creativity, and Self Respect, and several other areas.
4) Health and Wellness are directly affected by participating in the arts, both physically and psychologically.
5) Our weekly fee is $125 for 5 days a week and 8 hours a day. That's about $3.13 per hour. The average cost for most arts lessons, (music, dance, painting, etc.), is $30 to $45 or more per 30- or 45-minute session. We offer at least 6 different arts lessons and experiences for "$3.13" per hour!
** We offer a DISCOUNTED RATE if the camper attends all 5 weeks of camp with a rate of $110 per week for campers attending all 5 weeks.
7) There is a one-time $100 registration and supply fee per camper. Additionally, each "5-week camper" will participate in a program recital to showcase any of their new skills. These skills, if nurtured, will develop a more wholesome and mature youngster as the youth grows.
8) Our camp is designed to be both educational and fun, ensuring campers remain engaged and excited throughout the camp experience.
